IKA ELECTRICITY STEP DOWN PROJECT: NEW SITE MANAGER SAYS WORK TO BE COMPLETED DECEMBER

 

A new site manager, Engr. O. Isaac
has been posted by Pivot Engineering Company Limited, the company in charge of
the electricity step down project in Ika land. Engr. Isaac who has since
resumed duty assured Ika people that the project will be completed before
December this year.

                The
new project manager gave the assurance when members of Integrity Group, based
in Boji-Boji Owa visited the project site on Thursday, 29th of August, 2013,
saying he is prepared to work. He appealed to Ika people to be patient as he is
going to ensure that the project is completed as soon as possible.

                “Yes,
the electricity step down project has delayed but we will fastrack work to
ensure quick delivery,” he stated.

                The
chairman of Integrity Group, Comr. Dennis Agbormah said the growth and
development of Ika nation is their number one priority. According to him, “our
people have been suffering from epileptic supply. The reason for our visit
which is our second time in this was to know the extent of work done and when
the project will be completed”.

      
The group however promised to support Pivot Engineering Company so as to
bring the project to completion.

                Speaking
in the same vein, Comr. Nwachukwu Okoro, aka Nwa-God and Comr. Victor Ehiedu
said Ika people are pleading to Pivot Engineering to intensify work.

High point of the visit was a tour of
the project site.
