The executive governor of Delta
State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has appointed some illustrious sons and daughter
of Ika land as board members in the state. The names of the appointees from Ika
land and the boards they are to serve under are: Hon Friday Okoh, aka Hero, Delta State Rural Development Agency
(R.D.A.), Mr. J.O.C. Anyali, Delta State Institute of Continuing Education (I.C.E.),
Mr. Joe Morgan, Delta State Tourism Board, Princess Ijenwa Okunonke, Delta
Broadcasting Service (DBS), Asaba, Chief G. U. Mordi and Mr. Williams Eghebi,
Delta State Arts Council. While Chief Godwin Ogadi, aka (Omola), Ifechukwude
Ifeseokwu, Hon. Azeh Ralph, and Hon. Vincent Agboregbulem are to serve under
Land Allocation Committee Board.
According
to the press statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Comrade
Ovuozourie S. Macaulay, the appointments are with effect from the date of the
inauguration of the boards.
