DPO ABUDU DIVISION VISITS ORHIONWHON VIGILANTE GROUPS

 

Peace
is a fundamental prerequisite for any society to grow in peace. In the light of
this, the Divisional Police Officer, Abudu Division, M. Abubakah advised the
Orhionwhon Vigilante Group (OVG) to see that the problems such as kidnapping
and cultism be stamped out of the Igbanke community and its environs. The DPO
insisted that the vigilante group should cooperate with the police to give
Igbanke a good name and maintain peace. DPO Abubakah said that they should be
ready to work on his instructions, since they 
are partners in progress. He further stated that he has given them lamp
lights and will further make sure that they are well catered for. He enjoined
them to work with District officer, Johnbull Ugowe. The general commandant,
Chief David Elugiator said that the only way they can be successful in
discharging their duty effectively is to work together as a team. The director,
operations, James Ogede, aka Walter Arege said: all I need is cooperation so
that we will be able to carry everybody along as vigilante  is for the good of everyone so that Igbanke
will be at peace and people can sleep with their two eyes closed.

            Ottah commandant, Deacon F.I Efamgwu
(JP) said that kidnappers and armed robbers do not fall from the sky. They live
among us. Every thing should be done to rid our community of criminals.

            Matias Benson, Igbanke Commander
gave the DPO assurance that the vigilante have been posted to strategic
locations at Igbanke and that there is an assurance that the community will be
peaceful.

            He was supported by Ake commandant,
Andrew Odiase, Idumodin commandant, Joseph Onumajoro, Omolua commandant, F.O
Agholor, Oligie commandant, Bassey Ahado.
