Ika North: The law enforcement agents, Traditional ruler Asked To Look Into Crisis

The law enforcement agents and the traditional ruler of Owa Kingdom, Ika NorthEast Local Government Area of Delta State, obi Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor 11 (JP), have been urged to wade into the face off between the members of national union of road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Otu Onye Dozi lhien Ori na nma Tipper Drivers Association in the area.

The call was made by a public affairs commentator and analyst, Mr. Sabastin Nwajei in a statement to newsmen in Boji Boji Owa, Ika North-east local Government area of the state. Mr. Sabastin Nwajei disclosed that from his investigation/the officers of the NURTW would not allow the Tippers Drivers Association to be independent of  NURTW, adding that from further investigation.

He noticed that the Otu Onye Dozi Ihien Orinanma Tipper Drivers Association was duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with certificate of  incorporation No. 135514.He contended that the association followed the due process of publication in the three newspapers with the expiration of the statutory 28 days notice before the certificate of Incorporation was issued.

Mr. Nwajei therefore called on the law enforcement agents and the Obi of Owa to prevail on the officers of NURTW in the area.
