According
to our source, the tragic drama that culminated in the death of Nwamaka started
at Hausa by Ojekpolor Junction, Boji Boji Owa when her sister-in-law went with
some money to the bank and two persons, unknown to the late Nwamaka as robbers,
arrived their shop demanding for money, to which she replied that there was no
money with her.
The
source further said that at this stage, the hoodlums took her to the back of
the shop and demanded again for money from her. Immediately she answered in the
negative again, they allegedly unleashed mayhem on her, stabbing her several
times all over her body before they escaped leaving her in the pool of her own
blood.
?She
was rushed to the hospital as soon as help came but later died? the source
confirmed.
When
Ika Weekly visited the bereaved family?s house, mourners were seen gathered at
their Ohue by Owanta Street
compound. It was also revealed that the deceased?s brother was shot dead in the
same shop two years ago.
According
to a family source the remains of the late Imo state indigene will be buried
over the weekend.
