The family of Mr.
Goddey Okpuozun of Idume-Egbe quarters, Agbor-Nta, Agbor were on Sunday night 2nd October, 2011
thrown into instant mourning  following
the sudden death of their sixteen years old son, Ifeanyi, who met his untimely
death Sunday night while trying to escape from members of the  joint patrol team that visited Agbor-Nta on
that fateful day.

Narrating the
ugly incident to Ika Weekly, elder brother of the deceased, Master Emeke said
he and a few other youths numbering about forty were at a nearby shop having
fun when suddenly at about 8pm in the night, three Hilux filled with armed
security men stormed the area. “As we sight the
security men everybody on that spot started running to different
directions to avoid arrest. When I came out from my hiding place a few minutes
later I was told by a young girl that my younger brother has fell into a well.
I immediately rushed to the scene and with the help of  other
youths in the  area we were  able to get a ladder which we used to bring
him out. But unfortunately he could not survive it.” Emeke said.

Ika Weekly also
gathered that Ifeanyi who was a JSS3 student of Ihun-Iyase Secondary School,
Agbor-Nta was actually not at the spot where the security men were but became a
victim of circumstance when he joined those running and in the process fell
into a well.

The case has
since been reported to the Agbor Police station. As at Monday afternoon when
Ika Weekly visited the family of the deceased boy, his corpse is yet to be
buried.
