CONCERNED
CITIZENS OF AGBOR,  It has been drawn to
our attention the publication of our Honorable member representing us in the
Delta State House of Assembly, Barr. Martin Okonta, where he tried to justify
the pitiable state of our roads by exposing the fact that Gov. Emmanuel
Uduaghan has squandered the sum of N300m of our tax payers money on the old
Lagos/Asaba Road Dual carriage way road project. Now that the chicken has come
back home to roost we will want Hon Martin Okonta to explain how in over eight
years of his stewardship nothing has been done on that road. The work they have
commenced was abandoned. He was even elected to the position of a speaker he
still did nothing on the state of our roads, yet he insulted our SENSBILITY by
telling us that the project is dear to the Governor and that N300m has been
paid, justifying our fears that it has been a conduit pipe to siphon money.

We ask that an
urgent inquiry into the claims of Hon Martin Okonta should be instituted, so
that we can stop these politics of using our scarce resources to feather
peoples nest.

 Signed

Paschal
Nkonyeasua
