IKEMEFUNA is a short hilarious joke written by Chief Kaliku

Ikemefuna
is a house boy who drinks the wine of his Boss with impunity and makes up the
quantity with  water  to cover his
tracks. His Boss became suspicious and decided to buy pasties (a  French
wine that changes color if water is added; just like Dettol).

Unaware of the trap, Ikemefuna drank from the wine & topped it up with
water as  usual.
  …
Unfortunately for him, immediately he added  water, the pasties
became milky and when the Boss came back and noticed  it, he knew he had
nailed Ikemefuna.

Realizing
he was in trouble, Ikemefuna decided to hide in the kitchen when his boss came
home.

The Boss told his wife what he  observed.

"Ikemefuna!", he called  from the sitting room.

 Yes, Boss", Ikemefuna answered.

  "Who drank my pasties?".

  Ikemefuna, did not answer.

The Boss asked again. Still there was no  answer.

Then the Boss went to the  kitchen  to meet Ikemefuna.

"Are u insane or what? Why is it that when  I called you, you
answered "Yes Boss" but when I asked you a question you didn’t
answer  me? "

Ikemefuna retorted, "Hmmm Oga, when one is in the kitchen one
does not understand anything at all, except ones  name"

"Is that so?" asked the  boss, "Okay, go to the bar
and stand beside Madam. While I’ll be in the  kitchen, ask me a
question".

Ikemefuna accepted. When his boss was  in the kitchen,  Ikemefuna shouted "Boss".
"Yes, Ikem" his Boss  answered. Ikemefuna then asked,
"Who goes into the maid’s bedroom when  Madam is not at home?"

  No answer.

The boy shouted again: "Boss, I  say who dey sneak to the
maid’s room when madam no dey for house?"

  No answer.

The Boss runs back from the kitchen  shouting, "Wonders will
never cease! Ikemefuna, it is true. When one is  in the kitchen, one does
not hear anything, except one’s name."

The wife interrupted, "That’s not  true. Its a lie without
argument." Ikemefuna asked if she’ll enter the  magic kitchen to find
out.
  She agreed.

Ikemefuna asks madam, "Who be  junior’s biological father? Me
or my Boss?"

Madam:
( rushed out of the kitchen.)  "This kitchen needs to be fumigated. I
couldn’t understand anything.

The
lesson to learn from this is: Do not be over bearing or pushy even when you
think you are very right. And be careful about passing judgment all the time.
