OGISI OF AGBOR ENJOINS IHUN-IYASE YOUTHS TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS

 

Chief Augustine Ikpoza, the Ogisi of
Agbor kingdom has advised Ihun-Iyase youths 
to be good ambassadors of the area. The Ogisi handed down the advise at
his Ogwa in Agbor-Nta while playing host to the newly inaugurated executive of
Ihun-Iyase Youth Progressive Union on Tuesday 4th June, 2013.

                According
to him, Ihun-Iyase is an integral part of Agbor, so, any youth from the area
must contribute meaningfully to the development of Agbor. While
congratulating  the union on the
successfully inauguration of its new executive, Chief Ikpoza he advised that
they should extend their membership to all communities in Ihun-Iyase, just as
he enjoined them to avoid trouble and maintain peace all the time.

                In
the same vein, the youths commended the Federal Government for awarding  the contract for the reconstruction of
Ewuru-Aliokpu road. They called on the contractor handling the  road, Harpel Nigeria Ltd to speed up  work and also ensure that quality work is
done.

                The
president of the union, Comrade Efenwegbe Celestine used the opportunity to
call on youths from the area who are yet to identify with them to do so, so
that together they can  move the area
forward.  Other members of the union who
spoke to Ika Weekly, Orewa Ekene, deputy chairman, Emmanuel Ojougboh,
secretary-general, Ikechukwu Mekwuye, treasurer, James Isioma Kingsley,
Co-ordinator and Chukwuma Sunday, financial secretary, said the forum is out to
promote the interest of their community.
