According
to an eyewitness account, the S.S. 2 student of Idea
Secondary School, Agbor Delta
State was knocked down by
a vehicle traveling from Asaba axis while trying to cross a pavement in his
motorcycle to the other side of the road at Uromi junction.
Meanwhile,
our source alleged that Emeka who was riding on one C75 Honda Motorcycle sped
into the busy express way from a nearby street due to faulty brake.
Although,
it was learnt that he had succeeded crossing the busy road to the pavement,
unfortunately, the back tyre of hi motorcycle was said to have dragged him
back, causing the on-coming motor to knock him down.
However,
he did not die immediately but was said to have given up the ghost while being
rushed to the hospital. The sad incident was a big shock to the father, who was
said to have been having his sieta when the information got to him, as he
lamented that he did not send his son on any emend errand the school
hours.
