IKA COUNCILS RECEIVE N140.7 MILLION NAIRA AS JANUARY ALLOCATION

           

In a release from the Federation
Account Allocation Committee, as endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Finance,
Abuja, Ika North East Local Government Council received as Gross Statutory
Allocation N55, 194,589.12 (fifty-five million, one hundred and ninety four
thousand, five hundred and eighty-nine naira, twelve kobo), Value Added Tax
N16, 842, 172.92 (sixteen million, eight hundred and fourty-two thousand, one
hundred and seventy-two naira, ninety-two kobo) bringing the Total Allocation
to N72, 036, 762.04 (seventy-two million, thirty-six thousand, seven hundred
and sixty-two naira, four kobo).

           

Ika South Local Government
Council got as Gross Statutory Allocation N52, 613, 172.82 (fifty-two million,
six hundred and thirteen thousand, one hundred and seventy-two naira,
eighty-two kobo) and Value Added Tax of N16, 143, 002.78 (sixteen million, one
hundred and fourty-three thousand, two naira, seventy-eight kobo) totaling N68,
756, 175.61 (sixty-eight million, seven hundred and fifty-six thousand, one
hundred and seventy-five naira, sixty-one kobo).

           

Added together, the total amount
received by the two Ika Local Government Councils for the month of January,
2009 was N140, 792,937.65 (one hundred and fourty million, seven hundred and
ninety-two thousand, nine hundred and thirty-seven naira, sixty-five kobo).
