The family of Mr.
Denis Onyeisi of Idumu Ileje quarters Umunede, in Ika North East Local
Government Area of Delta State were on Saturday 29th October, 2011
thrown into mourning following the sudden death of their 46 years old father,
Mr. Denis Onyeise who met his untimely death early that Saturday morning.
Narrating the
painful incident to Ika Weekly, the daughter of the deceased, Miss Perpetual
Denis said that her father committed
suicide as a result of the persistence sickness that started many years
ago adding that they have visited many hospitals without positive result. Miss
Perpetual further lamented that the sickness which tortured her father caused
him severe sleepless nights, constant high temperature, and brain disorder
adding that all these contributed to his death.
Ika Weekly
further gathered that Late Mr. Denis Onyeisi on that fateful day, left the
house at about 12:15am to his father’s house where he died. His lifeless body
which was later found in the well at about 3am the same day was handed over to
the police who took the (corpse) to a nearby mortuary. In her words of
consolation, Miss. Perpetual urged her mother and siblings to let go off
everything and be strong in prayer saying that who ever has made her mother a
widow will by the power of God confess his or her evil deed in no distant time.
Late Denis Onyeisi is survived by his wife and children.
