When
God says in His word “behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there
anything too hard for me? Jer. 32:27. It
takes only those that have faith in Him to tap into prophecy.
However it was indeed a talk of
the town as the family of Mrs. Patrick Ozioma Akpaebi of Orlu senatorial
district Imo State on Thursday, 11th of April, 2013 were delivered of four
kids, three boys and a girl at the Federal Medical Centre (F.M.C.), Asaba,
Delta State.
Speaking to Ika Weekly correspondent
at the FMC, Asaba, Mrs. Uzoamaka Akpaebi, mother of the children stated “we got
married in September 2003, since then we had been without a child until 2010
when I conceived and gave birth to a baby boy before God gave me my quadruplet
on April 11th 2013.
On behalf of my family, I want
to thank God for His faithfulness and love upon my life and family,” asserting
that many women find it difficult to deliver twin babies without surgical
operation but “I delivered four children without pains. My advise to people who
are yet to have children is that they
should not kill themselves or put their trust in men, because they can
fail them at any given time, saying their should rely on God Almighty and
believe in Him that one day, He will meet their needs because He has answered
our prayers this year,” she said.
Mrs. Rita Dogun, one of the
nurses in charge of the antenatal hall, described the new born babies as
children with great destinies. She added that they are directly sent by God to
deliver the people of the world from sin as a result of their beauty and
handsomeness. She charged unbelievers to give their lives to Christ so that
when they pray for anything, God will answer them, stressing that what really
happened to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Akpaebi shows that God is alive.
Mr. Akpaebi, father of the quadruplet in a chat
with newsmen at his residence at No. 35, Deeper Life Road, Boji-Boji, Owa, said
that, “I needed just a child but God gave me four children. Infact, what He has
done for my family cannot be explained with any word or language. But all I
know is that I am overwhelmed. I am advising everyone who is childless to be
patient and put their trust in God because He is the creator of all things,” he
said.
Mr. and Mrs. Akpaebi, used the
opportunity to make passionate appeals
to spirited individuals, corporate bodies and government to come to their aid
to enable them take proper care of the
children because the task is enormous for them.
