It was all joy
at Living Saint Christian Assembly, located along Old Lagos Asaba Road,
Boji-Boji, Owa, as the members, family and well wishers rolled out drums on
Sunday 5th May, 2013 to celebrate the ordination of high Chief, Isioma Okonta
as a minister of the gospel..
While addressing
the congregation, before the ordination, Rev. Dayi called on the ordained
ministers of God to join hands to make sure Christianity take a solid stand. He
noted that Just as a car cannot move without fuel, so also will Christians not succeed without Jesus Christ. While
warning Christians against the danger of lies the man of God advised that no
one should allow his or herself be deceived for heaven is real, adding that man
should work towards making heaven rather than remaining in sin, Rev. Dayi
enjoined the newly ordained ministers to be humble in everything they do and
see their new office as opportunity to serve through humanity. He advised
the newly ordained ministers to promote the goodnews, support the work of
evangelism and encourage good neighborliness in their area, adding that
righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach, He tasked believers to remain steadfast, stressing that
a lot of people enter into ministry work with the ulterior motives of amassing wealth, urging the ordained
ministers to live up to their calling, so that they can give account of their
stewardship in heaven.
