The chairman, Ika North East Local
Government Council Caretaker Committee, Princess Ijenwa Okunonke on the 4th of
June, 2013 inaugurated sub-committee chairman and members, who will assist in
boosting the internally generated revenue of the council.
While
inaugurating the sub-committees at the council secretariat, Princess Okunonke
charged the chairman and members to discharge their responsibilities according
to the laid down rules of the council.
She stated that the reasons why
the sub-committees were constituted was to help boost the internally generated
revenue of the council, disclosing that the appointment takes effect from the
day they were inaugurated. While congratulating the chairman and members, she
charged the new sub-committees to focus specially on the areas of sanitation
and security as advised by the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan,
committees sworn in are, environmental task force, revenue task force and oil
task force
