A Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP), chieftain in Ika South local government area,
Delta State, Pa John Nwagimeje has
pleaded with the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Victor Ochei
to intervene over the problem of bad roads that have made transportation
difficult in Ika South.
Pa Nwagimeje, popularly known as
“Political Guru,” made the appeal last weekend at Agbor while speaking during
the birthday ceremony of Hon Doris Uboh Ogunkoya.
“Mr. Speaker, please tell your
House of Assembly members that we are suffering in Ika South. We have no
electricity, no good roads and other basic infrastructures needed to make life
comfortable. You are close to the governor tell him that the people of Ika
South have no good roads. Do not be surprise if you go to Oza Nogogo to
campaign, the people will dagger you because they have no good roads. If nothing
is done before Governor Emmanuel
Uduaghan leaves office in 2015, Oga it will not be good ooh,” Pa Nwagimeje
stated.
