It
was a theatre of drama last Sunday at Living Faith Assembly, Boji-Boji, Owa, as
Mr. and Mrs. Elvis Ogwugwa engaged in physical combat with church members
during service. The unholy incident made Mr. Ogwugwa to bite the church choir
master, Mathew Okoh, on his right hand. Mr. Ogwugwa had since been arrested by
the soldiers in Ika land led by Captain M. Ibrahim.
Mr.
Ogwugaw in an interview with newsmen said he and members of family worship in
the aforementioned church, saying he did not come to fight in the church but
rather to apprehend his younger sister Amaka who was at large for the past
three months after stealing the sum of ten thousand naira from him. He said he
came to the church with police but was later arrested by soldiers for fighting.
On
his part, Mr. Okoh expressed sadness over the incident, explaining that Ogwugwa
and a woman believed to be his wife came to the church and engaged them in
physical combat. He added that Mr. Ogwugwa bit him on his hand while trying to
hold his wife from damaging the church musical instrument.
He said he has left the matter to
God but insisted that Ogwagwa must write an undertaken since he threatened to
deal with him.
Ika Weekly gathered that the said
policemen who followed Ogwugwa to the church abandoned him because of his
unruly behaviour and inability to wait for the church to close
