IKA WEEKLY – The Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja through the Federation Account Allocation Committee has released, for the month of October, 2007, Distribution Details of Revenue Allocation to the 774 Local Government Councils in the country.
The breakdown of the allocation, which was shared in November, 2007 shows that both Local Government Councils of Ika land received N 168, 601, 666.10.
According to a publication in some national dailies concerning the released allocation, Ika North East got a total allocation of N85, 080, 406.73 while Ika South received N83, 521, 259.37
On the Revenue Allocation to State Government by the Federation Account Allocation committee for the month of October, 2007, which was shared in November, 2007, Delta State received the total net Amount of N8, 680, 855, 751.31.
The release shows that Delta State is third in terms of amount received, while Rivers, Bayelsa and Akwa-Ibom are first, second and fourth respectively, with Rivers getting N13, 222, 228 649. 60, Bayelsa N8, 820, 083, 152. 40 and Akwa-Ibom N8, 439, 294, 316.53.
