A much needed good news hit the streets of Ika last week that a young boy has placed Ika land in the center of attention in Nigeria. A young Ika boy who is also a student of Gbenoba Grammar school, Master Stephen Osemene who won Delta State mathematics competition has won the third position in the Federal Mathematics competition.
Out of the various contestants from all the states in the federation, Master Stephen Osemene won the third place in the mathematics contest making him on of the youngest top three mathematicians in Nigeria.
