Dein Keagborekuzi who expressed joy
over the monthly prayer meeting said he was particularly impressed with the
steadfastness of the ministers and all who have continue to identify with the
prayer crusade adding that the palace and the entire Agbor kingdom were already
receiving the blessings of the prayers from God.
The Agbor monarch while expressing
his love for his people, reiterated his complete abhorrence for lies and the
destructive attitude of some persons in always taking pleasure in undermining
the interest of others within the kingdom. In his words “I truly love my people
from the depth of my heart. But I do not like lies. I do not like it when
people say bad things about their own brothers and sisters. If you see your
brother or sister doing something wrong stop him or her. If you see your brother or sister in trouble,
do something to help him or her. As long as all these are done, Agbor will
continue to grow from strength to strength. There is no need for the people to
work against each other.”
Dein Keagborekuzi who stated that
Agbor kingdom has been in existence as far back as 721 B.C. stated that there
was the need for all Agbor people to understand that they have no other place
they can lay claim to, except Agbor. He therefore sued for the continued love
and unity among the people, adding that it was the duty and responsibility of
all to see that the interest of Agbor
kingdom was protected and maintained at all times. “We have to love Agbor and
make it strong. We have to love ourselves” he added.
In his message, titled “What We Need
For A Turn-around, Rev. Samuel Okoh noted that the earth was fraught with
diverse problems and challenges that can only be surmounted through the power
of God.
Rev. Okoh who is the chairman,
Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ika South Local Government Area Chapter
stressed that every believer need righteousness and faith in God to attract the
divine attention. He pointed out that prayer was necessary in the lives of
individuals, kingdoms and nations to receive the blessings of God and called on
Christians in Ika land to remain connected to God in righteousness and prayers.
On his part, Rev. Fr. Igwewanne who
dwelt on Psalm 101 observed that a king does not choose himself but is chosen
by God, and that he (the king) gets directives from God on how to lead his
people. He therefore urged the people of Agbor to always support their king in
prayer, for the wisdom to lead them in truth and justice for the sustained
progress of the land.
In his remark, Prophet Joseph Igbodo
said that it was a thing of joy to have the royal father being physically
present at the prayer crusade, stating that the Agbor monarch has shown by that
singular action that he has handed the entire Agbor kingdom into the hands of
God. He noted that from Dein’s speech, the traditional ruler was completely
against corruption and oppression, adding that the king’s support will go a
long way in encouraging all ministers and Christians in the area to continue to
intercede for the land.
