UTE-OGBEJE (Ika Weekly) – Couples have been advised to exhibit mutual relationship amongst them, the advice was given by Mr. Micheal Okonta, a staff of Ugbeje Primary School, Ute-Ogbeje in Ika North East Local Government Area of the state, during the traditional marriage ceremony between Mrs. Esther from Nwankwor’s family and Mr. Felix of Adigwe’s family, both of Ute-Ogbeje.
Mr. Okonta expressed satisfaction over the colourful nature of the marriage, adding that since 1991 he was posted to Ute-Ogbeje, he has never witness marriage of such magnitude.
Mr. Okonta who hails from Abavo commended Ika Weekly for the good publication so far, and encouraged the management to keep it up.
He called on Ika indigenes to encourage Ika Weekly by supporting it financially, and morally.
The master of ceremony Colenus Sonwu said the Lord has done great things for this couple that are his relation and prayed to God to bless them.
Responding, the Groom, Mr. Felix Adigwa thanked all that contributed one way and another to make his marriage reality.
