malpractice or polarize educational standards, adding that she had zero
tolerance for examination malpractice.
According to her, she makes
sure that teachers impact their knowledge to students and the students
acknowledged it for their success.
“Parents should consider
the academic work not the structures for this will be take care of in due
cause. A school may have all the infrastructures but lack academic work,” she
said.
On the National Union of
Teachers, she said at a time there was one academic body but now the
universities, colleges of education, and polytechnics are on their own.
Mrs. Okafor said she
relates well with her colleagues and teachers and debunk the allegation that
some principals bribe their way through to the principal position. She said she
was not aware that some principals collect illegal levies from students, adding
that any principal who did that would face the wrath of the ministry of
education.
Politically, she said with
INEC promises of fair and credible election, she is optimistic of success, and
called on all electorates to come out and vote for credible candidate of their
interest.
