The President-General of Agbor Community Association, Mr. Lucky Mgbeken, has resigned today after being found guilty of misappropriation of funds and poor public conduct. A committee setup by the organisation found Mr. Mgbeken guilty of misappropriating funds belonging to the association. Concerning his conduct in public, Mr. Lucky Mbeken was accused of acting in ways that do not present Agbor Community Association in positive light. The Secretary-General of Agbor Community Association, Mr. Larry Egun Onyeche, a retired Director at the Ministry of Agriculture, Delta State, will now act as Present-General until the association’s next congress in April 2018.
Some of the fall-outs from the resignation of Mr. Lucky Mgbeken is that Agbor Community Association modified its constitution and now requires NCE certificate as the minimum qualification for holding any position in the association. Another decision reached is that three signatories will henceforth be required for accessing the association’s funds unlike the previous practice of only the President-General and the Treasurer being the only signatories.
Keep up the good work.
