AGBOR (Ika Weekly) – The Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Keagborekuzi 1, has called on Nigerians youths to be peaceful and to contribute to national development.
Dein Keagborekuzi 1, who was speaking during the election and inauguration of the National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) at the weekend at Ilorin, Kwara State, noted that no country can experience genuine and enduring development without the youths, whom he said are the fulcrum of all socio-cultural, political and economic activities. He said that the youths should be given the enabling environment and the needed incentives to contribute to the countryâ€™s development.
The Agbor Monarch, who was represented at the event by Chief P.C Aniemeke, Onye-Dozihien of Agbor Kingdom and Secretary Idibo Dein-in-Council, enjoined the youths to use their talents and intellect to contribute to the overall development of Nigeria; stressing that the country is in need of people, especially youths who could generate ideas that can help improve the socio-economic and political environment.
Meanwhile, the NYCN election, which was conducted at Ilorin, saw some Deltans emerging members of the National Executive Officers, with Mr. Apuna Charles becoming National Secretary.
