YOUTHS SCRIBE COMMENDS DEIN OF AGBOR

AGBOR (Ika Weekly) – The Secretary, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ika South Chapter, Comrade Dele O. Akpatashi has attributed the peace prevailing in Agbor Kingdom to the royal dexterity employed by His Royal Majesty, Keagborekuzi 1, Dein of Agbor Kingdom.

                            

Comrade Akpatashi who was fielding questions from Ika Weekly correspondent at the Dein’s palace ground, during the new yam festival on Monday, noted that peace is of vital importance to socio-economic and cultural development of any community. He said the people of Agbor are noted for their peaceful disposition amongst themselves and with non-indigenes residing in the kingdom.

                            

He said he was impressed with the role the Agbor Monarch is playing in seeing that not only Agbor but the entire Ika nation moves forward; noting that he does not discriminate against anybody, whether rich or poor, adding that he was particularly proud of the rising profile of the Agbor Monarch.

                            

He specially appreciated the effort of the Chief Security Office (CSO) to the Dein, Mr. Fabian Egun who saw to it that the occasion was devoid of any unhealthy occurence.

                            

The youth leader equally called on the youths to embrace the rich culture of Agbor Kingdom, emphasizing that no matter one’s level of success, he should always remember where he comes from. He urged the palace to organize sensitization seminars and lectures periodically that could draw the interest of the youths of the Kingdom in Agbor culture.

                            

He also admonished parents to inculcate the right moral ethics in their children so that, they could turn out responsible members of the society.
