Hope in God
Foundation, a group of physically challenged people in Ika North East Local
Government Area has organized a special thanksgiving to show gratitude to God
for his loving kindness.
The thanksgiving was held at
Bride of Jesus Ministries, Umunede, Ika North East Local Government of Delta
State.
Speaking on behalf of the group,
Mr. Ndidi Chukwuekwu from Otolokpo and Mr. Raphael Utuke from Mbiri in their
separate remarks gave thanks to God who has been making ways for them.
They appreciated the transition
chairman of Ika Northeast, Princess Ijenwa Okunonke for empowering them, and
for putting smiles on their faces. Today, we have a sense of belonging.
They also commended the
benevolence of Evangelist James Azubuike, the founder of Hope in God
Foundation, whom God has been using to put food on, their tables, saying that
God Almighty will continue to bless him.
In a brief interview with Evang
Azubuike, he said that the local
government chairman, Hon Prince Ijenwa Okunonke has done very well for her
people, saying that she is the first local government council chairman of Ika
North East to remember to identify with the physically challenged.
He commended the physically
challenged, for their peaceful nature and understanding over the years.
