According to the Distribution Details published by the
Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, Ika North ? East Local Government Council
got a total of N62, 354, 492.34 (Sixty-two million, three hundred and
fifty-four thousand, four hundred and ninety-two naira, thirty-four kobo) for
the month under review.
The breakdown shows that the Council received N49, 344,
978.82 (fourty-nine million, three hundred and fourty-four thousand, nine
hundred and seventy-eight naira, eighty-two kobo), as Gross Statutory
Allocation, while Value Added Tax was N13, 009, 513.52 (thirteen million, nine
thousand, five hundred and thirteen naira, fifty-two kobo).
For Ika South Local Government Council, N47, 037,
145.13 (fourty-seven million, thirty-seven thousand, one hundred and
fourty-five naira, thirteen kobo) was given out to her as Gross Statutory
Allocation, while N12, 469, 448.81 (twelve million, four hundred and sixty-nine
thousand, four hundred and fourty-eight naira, eighty-one kobo) was received as
Value Added Tax, bringing the total amount received for the month of February
2009 to N59, 506, 593.93 (fifty-nine million, five hundred and six thousand,
five hundred and ninety-three naira, ninety-three kobo).
The combined total therefore received by the Ika North
East and Ika South Local Government Councils, for the month of February, 2009
is N121, 861, 086.27 (one hundred and twenty-one million, eight hundred and
sixty-one thousand, eighty-six naira, twenty-seven kobo).
