He rose through the rank to
the post of Assistant Director of Prisons. In between the ranks He went to
England to study Criminology at the Wakefield University. During his tenure, he
introduced a lot of reforms in the service. He retired voluntarily in 1978
after twenty years of service.
Late Chief Isibor saw every
activity as a service to humanity He looks out for every opportunity that will
benefit people around him, he was always willing, eager and ready to show good
to people. He was a father of affable and genial character.
He is survived by his dear
wife, Chief Mrs. Christiana Nwabiani Isibor, six children and 12 grandchildren.
