It was indeed
shocking as an unidentified corps of a middle aged man was found dead at Alohen
primary school well, Ute- Alohen, on Monday, 4th March, 2013. The deceased body
was brought out from the well naked and swollen.
Some residents of the area who
spoke on the condition of anonymity said some days before the incident, a man
believed to be mad was seen naked and moving round the community, saying that
they have no doubt that the body found in the school was that of the mad man. Other residents who
spoke, lamented on the poor state of the school. According them, if the school
is fenced, a mad man will not be seen in
the compound let alone fall inside the school well.
They however begged that the
school should be fenced to avoid future occurrence.
