A 15 years old
girl whose family is resident at Ihaikpen quarters, Ime-Obi, Agbor was said to
have committed suicide on Wednesday morning, the 9th of October 2013 after
having a little disagreement with his mother over N500 issue.
Ika Weekly reliably gathered that
the late teenager whose name was given as Glory was a student of Ime-Obi Secondary school, Agbor.
According to a resident in the area,
Glory was a daughter of a popular Prophet in the Ime-Obi but lived separately
with her mother.
The source said that Glory was
driven from school for not paying a levy of N500, maybe meant for books and on
getting home she made straight to where she kept the money she saved in order
for her to go back to school, but unfortunately, reverse became the case as the money was not there. When she asked
her mother, she became aggressive and
refused to give Glory her N500.
He said Glory left for school
without any money but was driven back home a second time. What we heard again
was shout that Glory has hang herself.
As at the time of filling this
report the remains of Glory has been committed to mother earth.
