The Onyenwoihian of Agbor kingdom, Chief Julius E. Imudia (JP) said the uncompleted Alisince, Ozanogogo and Omumu road tarring project makes the affected communities feel uncomfortable as he called on the State Government and the contracting firm to ensure that the project was completed this dry season.
Chief Imudia who stated this in an interview with newsmen at his Baleke Street, Agbor office, said the first phase of the road project which covered Alisimie axis was well executed, adding that indigenes of Ozanogogo and Omumu axis are facing a lot of hardship emanating from the deteriorating condition of the road.
While calling for speedy execution of the second phase of the project Chief Imudia appealed to the State Government and the contractor to ensure the inclusion of the boundary road, linking Alisimie Agbor in Delta State and Igbanke in Edo State.
The Onyenwoihian appealed to Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan-led administration to improve the lots of rural communities in Ika land as the people are solidly behind all genuine efforts of government to improve their standard of living.
