Victory
who lives with her parents at No. 14 Alisimie road, Idumodin, Igbanke in
Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State has had very traumatic experience
in the last one year, spending all of that time at the University of Benin
Teaching Hospital UBTH, where she was receiving
medical attention.
The
little girl has been referred to University
College, Ibadan, for treatment and the estimated
amount needed for operation to remove the cancer in her eye has been put at
1.5million naira.
So
far the parents, who informed this paper that they have expended all they had
in seeking for medical solution, are yet to raise the money. They are therefore
calling on public spirited individuals, philanthropic and cooperate
organizations, churches and government to come to their aid, to help them
proceed to UCH Ibadan for the proposed operation.
Ika Weekly is therefore using this medium and
opportunity to call on members of the public, organizations, such as churches
and Delta and Edo State Governments to reach out to little Victory Ndidi Omaka
at their No. 14 Alisimie Road, Idumodin, Igbanke in Orhionmwon L.G.A, Edo Sate
or through her mothers mobile phone number, 07030602984. No assistance will be
considered two small or too big, as whatever we do to alleviate the suffering
of the family and the pains Victory is going through will be appreciated, and
God will also take note of it. It will be recalled that MOREE has started the
donation with the sum of N2, 500.00, which was made about two weeks ago.
