Ika South LG Chairman Suspended

Delta state house of Assembly has suspended Mr. Hilary Ibude as chairman of Ika South LGA for three months. The Delta State House of Assembly attributed his suspension to financial impropriety.Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the House, Mr.
Funkekeme Solomon, moved the motion for the suspension under matters of
urgent public importance which was unanimously carried.
The Vice-Chairman of the council was asked to oversee the council.
