CHRIS OGALA DECLARES FOR PDP IKA SOUTH CHAIRMANSHIP … QUEEN MOTHER GIVES HER SUPPORT … UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED BY NURTW IKA SOUTH AND OTHERS

An astute politician and Peoples Democratic Party stalwart in Ika South, Mr. Chris Ogala has formally declared his intension to vie for the party chairmanship seat in the local government in the PDP national congress that will take place very soon.
Mr. Ogala who made his intension known on Saturday 14th January, 2012 in an enlarged gathering of PDP faithful at the Queen mother and Commissioner of Millennium Development Goals Delta State, residence at Ime-Obi said as a politician he has since 1979 served at the executive levels of different political parties that have existed in Nigeria assuring that if he is given the opportunity to be chairman of PDP in Ika South he will not only carry every member of the party along but will also remain committed to the party. While thanking the Queen mother for the great role she is playing in order to move Delta State PDP forward Mr. Ogala asked for her support and blessings.
On her part, the Queen mother described Mr. Ogala as a good politician that has the right qualifications and qualities to serve as chairman of PDP in Ika South. "Your behaviour during the election showed that you are a material for the job. Hon Martin Okonta and I have confidence in you. You are good in consulting people, patient and loyal, that is the most important character a leader is expected to have. You have our blessing" she said.
Mr. Kanji Aluge Obi, Chairman Ika South mandate, Com. Amechi Igumbor, Chairman National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ika South chapter, Mr. Godwin Ezedon, and some PDP supporters including Mr. Emmanuel Ezede who spoke at the event described Mr. Ogala as a grassroot, humble and loyal politician who has all it takes to move Ika South PDP forward if given the opportunity. They unanimously adopted the chairmanship aspirant as their candidate in the next PDP congress in Ika South, Meanwhile Mr. Ogala has promised not to disappoint his teeming supporters and party if voted into office. The event was witnessed by a large number of PDP supporters in Ika South.
