Experience of the federal level is an advantage – Ojougboh

Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, an aspirant for the senate, says that his experience at the federal level will be a great advantage if elected.

He made this point during his formal declaration to contest for the senatorial seat to represent Delta North Federal Constituency.

The well attended event was held at the residence of a prominent politician, Hon Humphrey Iweriebor, in Owa, Ika North East Local Government Area of the State.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr Ojougboh thanked those present at the event for finding time to honour him.

He urged the people to support him in his ambition, saying that he would fight for the cause of the Anioma man.

"It is the duty of a senator to represent the people from his constituency, and I will ensure that my people’s interest, agitations, and aspirations would not be undermined," he stated.

While calling on the people to rally round him, he said: ‘When you work for me I will work for you."

He decried the fact that an Anioma person has not been elected governor of the state and promised to stand firm in defense of the Anioma people.

He further promised to hold regular meetings and consultations with the leaders of the area.

In his remarks, Hon Humphrey Iweriebor described Dr Ojougboh as a straightforward man. He declared that Ojougboh was the choice of Ika people for the senate.
