CHRISTIAN WIVES URGED TO BE SUBMISSIVE TO THEIR HUSBANDS

BOJI-BOJI OWA (Ika Weekly) – Christian women have been advised to remain faithful and submissive to their husbands irrespective of their financial status in the family.

The advice was given by the Pastor of Anchor of Hope Ministry, Boji-Boji Owa, Pastor Mrs. Caroline Okpori while speaking at the National Convention organized by the Women of the Truth and Life Bible Church, Boji-Boji Owa.

Pastor C. Okpori who was the guest speaker at the convention said the advice has become necessary because some women who by a stroke of luck have more money than their   husbands treat their husbands as errand boys, just because of money.

She cautioned the women who may find themselves as bread winners of  their respective families to always respect their husbands as leaders of the house, adding that because a woman brings the money for the up keep of the family, does not make her the leader of the family.

The Chief host of the convention, Deaconess Naomi Ohen who is also the wife to the General overseer of the Church Rev., H. N. Ohen, said the only way to recover is to discover what one needs.

She therefore appealed to women to stand firm in building happy families by helping their husbands in whatever conditions they find themselves.
