IKA WEEKLY – The much publicized Creat Gospel Crusade with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke kicked off on Wednesday with tales of goodness as many homes are jubilating over the miracles received on the first day.
One of such families is the family of Mr. and Mrs. Godwin Ofunim of No 46 Obiazikwor Street Boji-Boji Owa, Agbor, whose daughter, Miss Vivian Ofunim who has been experiencing walking disability for the past four years walked again during the prayer session of the crusade.
The healing sent the crowd agog with shouts of praise to God for doing what seemed impossible.
Miss Ofunim, a former student of Owanta Secondary School, was full of joy as she walked through the length and breadth of the platform, displaying the clutches with which she came to the arena.
In a chat with Ika Weekly crew that visited their home, after the miracle Vivian’s Mother, Mrs. Edith Ofunim said God gave her the surprise of her life because she was not expecting the healing that day.
She disclosed that Vivian’s case had defied all medical attention which cost the family great fortunes, saying that they resigned to fate when all efforts made medically to correct the situation proved abortive.
On the cause of Vivian’s predicament, Mrs. Ofunim said nothing was diagnosed, adding that all she knew was that her daughter work up one morning with disability.
She thanked God for remembering and visiting her family when they least expected it.
Another family enjoying the goodness of the crusade is that of Mr. Stephen Lawrence Agborbu alias ma-must-wack, whose daughter was healed of epilepsy.
Addressing the elated Crowd, the lady who is also pregnant said she has been epileptic for the past sixteen years, and that the baby in her womb has not been moving for sometime now, but to God be the glory, God healed her of epilepsy and brought life to her baby as it moved within her during the prayer session.
As the Crusade continues, many more families are expectant, hoping that God will visit them too.
